To ensure the best possible experience for all our patrons and align with the responsibilities of operating within a government building, we have established the following policies.
Room Usage Fees and Amenities
Effective immediately, our games room is no longer available for free use. The following fees and provisions apply:
-Per-Person Fee: $15 per individual per session.
Eg: 10 people would be $150 This fee is payable no later than two weeks out from event booked dates. With refunds only being issued due to cancellation no later than 5 days from the event date.
For two day events, a Sunday Staffing Fee of $375 is added on top of the event PP Fee.
This is for hiring a staff member to open the store during this time.
Amenities Provided:
-Fully equipped tables and chairs, ensuring ample space for all games.
-Terrain and mats available for all war gaming events.
-Objective Markers - Irresistible Force objective markers for GamesWorkshop events.
This nominal fee allows us to maintain the space at a high standard, ensuring a clean,
professional, and enjoyable environment for everyone. By reinvesting these funds, we can continue to provide art, equipment and support for the vibrant gaming community that calls Irresistible Force home.
Event Support and Prizing Options
We understand that prizing and support are integral parts of any gaming event. At Irresistible Force, we offer flexible options tailored to the needs of each group:
War Game Prizes
Gift Cards:
Gift Cards are redeemable online or in-store, offering unparalleled flexibility. A 30% bonus is added to all prize support purchases.
Example: Purchase $500 in Gift Cards, and we will enhance the value to $650, giving participants even more to enjoy.
Discount Alternative:
As an alternative that are not normally available, under these special circumstances can be approved of in advance by the Event Co-ordinator or Owner.
TCG Prizes
Prize support for TCG (Trading Card Game) events varies depending on the event's structure, TCG System, and scale.
To ensure the most appropriate support, we encourage direct communication with our TCG Coordinator, who will work with you to create a tailored prize package that meets your event’s needs.
Community and Conduct Guidelines
At Irresistible Force, we believe in fostering a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive community for all participants, regardless of experience level or background. As part of this commitment, we have established the following conduct guidelines:
Kindness Policy
● All attendees, including participants, Tournament Organizers (TO’s), and staff, must be treated with respect and courtesy at all times.
● Disrespectful behavior, harassment, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
*This also includes cheating behavior within a store run or outside run event from
participants.
Hygiene Policy
Given our commitment to providing a comfortable environment and our location within a government building, all patrons are expected to adhere to the following hygiene standards:
● Personal Hygiene: Please ensure you arrive clean and well-groomed.
● No Spray, No Play: Use deodorant as needed to maintain a pleasant atmosphere for all attendees.
● No Shoes, No Service: Footwear must be worn at all times while inside the premises
for safety and hygiene reasons.
Failure to comply with these policies may result in removal from the premises or event requests in the future being terminated.
Government Building Compliance
As Irresistible Force operates within a government building, all visitors are expected to respect the property and adhere to any additional regulations set forth by the building management.
These include, but are not limited to:
● Maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces.
● Following emergency protocols in the event of an evacuation or other incident.
● Demonstrating respectful behavior towards other building users, staff, and building personnel.
By respecting these guidelines, we can ensure our continued ability to operate within this location and provide exceptional services to our gaming community.
